Efforts to find a cure for Huntington’s disease received a boost on Saturday, Sept. 16, as participants made their way around Riverside Park in Preston for the Grand River Founders Walk.
The event, hosted by the Grand River chapter of the Huntington Society of Canada, was held in honour of the organization’s founders — Ralph and Ariel Walker of Cambridge — and generated nearly $24,000 for research into a cure, as well as treatments and support for families.
