2021 National Volunteer Week – Profiles
Courtney Farr – St John’s, NL
Courtney really took charge of advocating for Huntington disease after her dad, Harry, was diagnosed. She’s been at every event in Newfoundland and never misses an opportunity to promote outreach and educational initiatives. When Harry passed away a few weeks ago, her family made the decision to focus memorial donations to the Huntington Society of Canada instead of traditional memorial methods. Courtney truly is an amazing volunteer.
