Memo: Interim Leadership at the Huntington Society of Canada
Dear Friends and Family of HSC:
This note is further follow-up to the message sent out in late October, where we advised that Robin Markowitz is no longer with the Huntington Society of Canada (HSC). On behalf of the HSC board of directors, I wish Robin well in her future endeavors and thank her for her contributions and dedication to the organization over the past 15 months.
The search for a new leader of HSC has begun already and while it may take some time, we are excited about the future of HSC and look forward to welcoming a new CEO to our organization, who will lead us into a new era.
I am very pleased to share with you that Bev Heim-Myers has agreed to take on the role of HSC’s Interim-CEO during this transition period and she will be starting in this role on Tuesday, November 12, 2019. As many of you will be well aware, Bev is no stranger to HSC – she led our organization for more than 8 years as CEO before retiring from the helm of HSC in July of 2018. Bev brings with her a massive wealth of knowledge of HSC’s internal workings and many external relationships as well that will prove valuable to HSC and many of our stakeholders during this transition period.
Communications intended for the CEO of the Huntington Society of Canada can be continue to be directed to ceo1@huntingtonsociety.ca. You can also reach me at 780-897-8048 (call or text) or at mack@jadecash.com. If your inquiry is urgent, please reach out directly to the HSC office at 1-800-998-7398.
All other correspondence can continue to be directed to the appropriate HSC staff member.
Thank you for your patience and understanding during this transition period. Please, do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
MACK ERNO
Board Chair
