As the President of Young People Affected by Huntington Disease (YPAHD), I’m proud of the program itself and what it has to offer those in the younger generation. But, YPAHD is just one iniative that the Huntington Society of Canada administers on behalf of the HD community. There are multiple other resources and awareness material, such as factsheets, PSA campaigns, Community Education Forums, the National conference – the list goes on – all with the goal of helping to better the lives of those with HD and support their carers.
On top of resources, there is an extensive family services team ready to support our community in person and through two new online initiatives.
In short, hard work is being done and we are optimistic about the future.
Please, help us in the coming days to secure those donations that will be doubled. The impact of that support will be amplified and in turn allow HSC to continue with exciting iniatives and begin new ones in the coming months.
