Amaryllis Photo Festival – Congratulations Marilyn!

Harnessing the Power of Viruses to Treat Huntington Disease
HDBuzz – February 3, 2016

New therapies for disorders like Huntington disease are on the way, but getting the drugs to enter brain cells can be a major challenge. A group of scientists have redesigned and tested a harmless virus that can efficiently deliver a ‘gene silencing’ message throughout the brain in mice, much further than naturally occurring viruses can reach.

HSC Staff Changes

After more than 8 years, first as Coordinator Chapter Development and then National Manager of Chapter Development,  Devin Bonner is moving on to a new adventure. Devin has accepted an Account Manager position with Blue North, a company that provides services to not-for-profit organizations. Please join us in wishing him all the best as he embarks on this new challenge.
