Victoria St. Amand passed away on February 13, 2019. She was described as a generous and caring person, who had a beautiful spirit. She was also a leading light that showed strength, courage and grace in the face of HD and took every opportunity she had to help others understand the disease.
In the last few years, Vicki’s HD had progressed and she had moved to a long term care home. At her care home, she participated in music therapy and wrote a song for her first fundraiser for HSC. Continuing to channel her creativity, she had recently taken an interest in painting.
Prior to her passing, Vicki and her husband, Don, started a fundraising campaign to promote t-shirts that Victoria designed based on a painting she and McKenzie Miller created. The painting includes a tattoo that she had on her left arm, with additional words of encouragement.
The t-shirts are being promoted to continue Victoria’s legacy of raising funds for HD research and services and to honor her memory.
For your donation of $40 a t-shirt will be shipped to you.
