Since March 1991, Paul Klodniski has been the Resource Centre Director for the Huntington Society of Canada (HSC) Eastern Ontario Resource Centre. Paul has made the decision to pursue other endeavors. Many individuals, families and service providers have benefitted from Paul Klodniski’s care, compassion and knowledge of HD and resources. He has supported generations of families living with HD.
In his letter to colleagues, Paul shared: ‘’I decided several years ago that I would likely be leaving the HSC around now, and the time has finally come. I can’t believe it. It has taken quite a bit of an adjustment to reach this point, but I now know that the time is right.’’
Working with the HD community for over 28 years, Paul has offered hundreds of support group sessions, in-services and educational days.
In August 2019, Paul will be leaving the HSC but is not yet declaring himself as ‘retired’. Paul is planning an extended break and looking forward to a change of pace. Many will miss Paul’s calm, caring and considerate approach.
Paul will be assisting with recruitment and orientation of the new Resource Centre Director. More details will be available on the recruitment process in the coming weeks. Join the HSC staff in wishing Paul all the best in this new chapter.
We have truly enjoyed learning from and working with Paul!
