Shared Partnership

In partnership with a company called Shared, based out of Ottawa, we were able to create these awareness videos.

One of Shared’s employees, Amanda Munro, is affected by Huntington disease. Amanda is 30 years old and her mother was diagnosed with HD 10 years ago. Her mother has become more and more symptomatic over the years and now relies on Amanda and her family to be her caregivers. Amanda is now at a 50% risk of inheriting the disease and seeing the same fate as her mother.

Before watching the videos, we wanted to let you know that they might be difficult to watch.

The campaign is intended to raise awareness in the general public about Huntington disease and the difficulties families face. We will be leveraging Shared’s network to share these videos to the general public.
