Registration Information

- To register for a specific group, please select it from the drop-down box titled “reason”
- They are listed in alphabetical order by the name of the group
- We will send links for virtual meetings or specific address details following registration
- If there isn’t a registration close date listed, you can register anytime on a rolling basis

1) AB Carers Support Group
- Second Tuesday of every month, 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. MT
- September to June
- Facilitated by Maryam Chamani Fard (RSW) and Rhonda Romolock (BSW, RSW)
- First session is Tuesday, Sept. 10

Who Is This For: Carers of people living with Huntington disease in Alberta (Northern and Southern)
2) AB Coffee Social Group
- Third Wednesday of every month 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM MT
- September to June
- Facilitated by Maryam Chamani Fard (RSW) and Rhonda Romolock (BSW, RSW)
- First session is Wednesday, Sept. 18
Delivery: Virtual
Who Is This For: People who are gene positive, symptomatic, pre-symptomatic, or at-risk
3) Southern AB Social Group
- Quarterly, in-person (dates and activities to be determined)
- October 2024, January 2025, April 2025, July 2025
- Facilitated by Maryam Chamani Fard (RSW) and a Southern Alberta Chapter Volunteer
- Meet in Glenmore Park in the summer and at the Parkinson’s Association office in Fall, Winter, and Spring
- First session is October 26, 2024
Delivery: In-person
Who Is This For: Anyone in the HD community who is looking for support and to do some fun activities

- Every second Thursday of every other month, 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. MT
- October to June
- Facilitated by Rhonda Romolock (BSW, RSW)
