Day 2 of the CHDI HD Therapeutics Conference
Today’s topics focused on the biology of Huntington disease and the next generation of therapeutic interventions. We heard from several researchers, including Jim Rosinski. We first heard from Jim a couple of years ago and it is promising to see the comprehensive and coherent database that he is creating.
This data will be shared through a central hub where all researchers can access and interact with the data. This is yet another example of sharing knowledge and data to move research forward faster.
At the conference, this sharing of information and ideas is not limited to the presentations. Clusters of researchers meet to share, learn and develop at every opportunity.
During my time here, I’ve also enjoyed catching up with many folks that I have not seen for a while. Yesterday, Jim Pollard let me know that he is really looking forward to his Canadian tour with our Chapter Development Team, Devin Bonner and Sally Litchfield.
There is no better community than the HD community. Everybody working together.
