Summer is here, and that means plans for YPAHD Day are being finalized for this November. There is plenty in store for the second annual Regional YPAHD Days taking place all over the country this November.
Locations this year include:
- Kelowna, British Columbia – Western Canada
- Toronto, Ontario – Central Canada
- Moncton, New Brunswick – Eastern Canada
YPAHD Day 2016 in Halifax
Having YPAHD Days in conjunction with HSC conferences (our last conference was in Halifax, last year) was great and of itself, but two years has proven to be a long time to have to wait to meet up with people who share such a special connection. We are glad to be able to have these Regional YPAHD Days in off-conference years in order to allow those connections to rekindle and grow.
Registration for YPAHD Day is now open and we encourage anyone who has any interest in coming to attend! It’s going to be an action-packed weekend filled with informative sessions and fun-filled activities in a collaborative team building environment.
There will be content for people in the Huntington disease community no matter how involved or how educated you are about the disease, and everyone’s guaranteed to walk away from the weekend having learned something new. Topics will touch on care strategies, research, social media, event planning and more!
